Scott was born in South Carolina and moved to Seattle, WA at the age of 4. He graduated from Oregon State in 1995 with a degree in Communications and minors in sociology and philosophy. He went back to Seattle after graduation and became the manager at Proline Audio Visual. In 1998, there was an opening for General Manager at the Carabiner office in San Diego, CA. Scott made the move and has been here ever since. He feels that the success of GP has come from creativity, determination, and an emphasis on the quality of the working environment. Ideas of all employees are discussed and frequently implemented. “Everyone feels that they are an integral part of the company and its success.”
Favorite Movie : Gladiator

Matt was born in the mid-west but grew up in San Diego. He graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications and Film. Matt worked as a freelance camera operator and video editor doing mostly industrial video production for two years following graduation. In 1998 he went to work for the largest in-house provider of Audio/Visual services in the nation. In the 8 years with that company, he had various management roles running A/V offices in convention hotels in Southern California and beyond. Matt brings an insider perspective and hospitality background to his production management expertise. In Matt’s role as a Senior Project Manager, he specializes in large scale events with a heavy emphasis on custom design.
Favorite Leisure Activity: Golf

Don was born in Chicago, Illinois and later moved to Nashville, Tennessee. He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 1997 with a Bachelors in Mass Communications with an emphasis on Digital Animation and Design. After graduation, Don worked for a AAA Baseball Team where he designed all printed advertising and promotional materials as well as managing the Technical Department of the franchise. Following that, Don worked as a Project Manager for four years for a number of large and small associations before joining Gravity Productions. In Don’s role as a Senior Project Manager, he oversees Association events that range from 150 to 4,000 attendees.
Favorite Late Night Dish: “Nashville Style” Hot Chicken

Miguel was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. He moved to the U.S. at age 14, making San Diego his new home. Miguel has worked in the Audio/Visual industry for over twenty years, having started his career working for Televideo and Voice and Video. As one of Gravity Productions’ longest-tenured employees, joining in 2003, he has been an integral part of the company’s growth and development. As a Project Manager, Miguel brings passion, drive, and determination to his work, always striving to create impactful events and lasting relationships.
Secret Weakness: Spicy Food

Joe was born and raised in the Boston area. After graduating from the New England Institute of Art and Communication in 2005, he began managing corporate events in theaters and hotels. Working with music has always been one of his passions, and in 2009 he was lucky enough to tour with a 15-piece ensemble in Ethiopia. Upon returning, Joe landed a job Tour Managing Wheel of Fortunes’ Wheelmobile contestant search, which conveniently offered him the opportunity to visit all 50 states! Now based out of Seattle, he joined the Gravity team in 2016, bringing along his diverse experience in audio production and event management. Joe project manages a variety of Gravity Productions events from inception to execution, including multi-site townhalls, webcasts, large conferences, breakouts, and general sessions.
Secret Skill: Home Improvement Specialist

Zig was born and raised in Ocean Beach, San Diego. He began his career in production immediately after high school by working for several large lighting providers. After a few years in the industry, Zig decided to change course and purchased a small bar and venue while simultaneously attending San Diego State University. He graduated in 2004 with a BS in Architectural Design and Computer Aided Design and went to work for Northrop Grumman as a mechanical drafter. But the A/V life was still calling, and he returned to the industry in 2006, going to work for a production company specializing in large parties, concerts, and festivals. In 2017 Zig brought his diverse background to Gravity Productions, where his unique set of skills serve him well as a project manager, lighting designer, and CAD expert.
Favorite Beverage: Coca-Cola

Carol was born in San Diego, CA and has lived in southern California her entire life. She started her career in the banking industry before taking several years off to raise her family. Carol joined GP in 2005 and quickly settled into her role as Office Manager, where her amazing capacity for organization and commitment to detail have kept all of us here at GP in line and out of trouble.
Favorite Musician : Darius Rucker

Jeremy is a native San Diegan and has a hard time understanding why anybody leaves. He joined the Gravity team in 2006, leaving briefly to attend school at UC Santa Cruz. A student of Politics and Philosophy, Jeremy is very interested in public policy and morality issues and is ever eager to discuss these topics. Having grown up in the computer age, he has always been interested in using and learning more about innovative technologies, an opportunity greatly afforded by the audio/visual industry. With over 15 years of experience in the field, Jeremy has a diverse breadth of knowledge while specializing in video production, including being a certified Spyder and E2 operator and general computer whiz.
